My students and I used to read 週刊ST. It's a newspaper delivered once a week. They have their own website. I think it helps you to know about Japan.

Hi Roberuto,
2nd term -> 2期目, under tight security -> 厳重な警戒のもと, without sacrificing ~ -> ~を犠牲にせずに
Those of them above are translations from English into Japanese.

If you read the paper, you know that Mick Jagger is still popular in Japan. :wink:

I'm sorry, but I don't read English/American/Japanese papers...
In Polish papers we don't read about MICK Jagger, coz never write about him.
Who is he?

See you!

Yes. He is a vocalist in The Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones was so popular a long years ago. But still they are active.
Once I met an Australian girl in Kyoto she said Mick Jagger was ugly but sexy. I myself liked 'Paint It Black' among their albums. But anyway it's very old. :)

hey

Japan Times? Oh, I've heard about it. It's a newspaper written by foreign people for not-Japanese who live in Japan, isn't it? I've read about it in Marcin Bruczkowski's book "Sleeplessness in Tokyo". :) Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that's right, but I've read it a little while ago, so I'm not sure.
